Loaded an SSH in the bridge of my Charvel. Honestly, it really isn't much hotter than the SSV+, but it does have a rounder voicing. Ran through some dirty tones and some clean stuff. Also working on getting my new Strymon TimeLine dialed in. Not sure if I have the wet mix where I want it just yet. Anyway... enjoy...

As a side note, I've been leaving my gain knob at noon for the past few vids to attempt to give a better comparison.

Sounds really good. Where is that pickup compared to the Aldrich ?

The Aldrich is definitely hotter and had a chewier mid range. The SSH reminds me of an over would PAF in output, but is really warm sounding.

Agreed just pulled an SSH from my Charvel and went with the SSH+. The Aldrich is an overwound SSH+ so I think I am good, love the SSV in the neck too..

I find that the Aldrich doesn't have the same top end that the SSH+ has. Its somewhere between the SSH+ and DSH+ in its voicing.
