I'm ditching the Dimarzio and thinking one of these

What say you?

For metal: SSH+
Well, just something different. Tried a tone zone, a super distortion and a Norton

I found a deal on either of the suhr pups, just need to decide

I like the SSV+ better, but I don't really play metal anymore
The SSH+ will be better suited

I run an SSV in my strat. Through my 5153, I have no problems getting hard rock and metal tones. I also have an SSH+. TO be honest, I prefer the SSV. I think it sounds more organic. Below is a clip I did when I had the pickup installed in my Les Paul.

I went ahead and got the SSV+ (thanks John)

Btw SFW, that vid sounds really good!

I had an SSH+ and thought it sounded weak for metal. Get an Aldrich or, better still, a Nailbomb.
