Suhr's - EMG / M.K. Mod ... ?

Has anyone ever tried John's EMG / M.K. Mod with the new Seymour Duncan Blackouts yet ?

I'm getting ready to drop in the AHB-3 ( bridge ) and the AS-1 ( middle ) and I'm just curious if the 22K resistor and .033 cap values should change or not ... ?

John's EMG Mod is just a way of making the 85 ( or the 81 ) sound more like a "tapped" humbucker ( single coil ) in position 4 ( bridge / middle ). The resistor lowers the output level and the cap removes bass frequencies.

..., solder a 22k resistor and a .033 cap to the bucker for the 4th position ONLY, and it will simulate a coil tap. You also need a super/mega/4-pole switch."
