How else to explain this latest offering?
Like going to a supercar showroom and they start the car without pressing the pedal, then switch it right off again.
Could be any car/amp. Put your foot down man!

some great chords there! no its right on target for the low watt/tan pants crowd at tgp

Because it's a clean tone it could be any amp...? I think it sounds great!

Yeah, I would never listen to that style of music at all, but it doesn't change the fact that that is a GREAT clean tone.

I don't get what the problem is? Great playing, great tone, well shot video. Makes me want to buy one!!!!

This video was meant to showcase a clean tone only with that particular guitar. I can see your point if this was the only demo from Suhr. It is not. That is why there are others.

Overpriced, overhyped.

Nice stuff? Sure. But when the demographic is more interested in posting up pictures then talking about how they play, that's telling. I got sick of the TGP/Suhr relationship, banning anyone with any criticism of Suhr.

The sensitive side of Suhr. Everything overpriced by 1K

That link is the Badger 35. The first vid is the only demo of the Badger 30 on the site, and was recently posted. It runs EL34s unlike the EL84s of the 18 & 35. The Voxy chime on cleans would come from those other amps.
The clean channels of other Suhr/CAE amps are excellent and fuller than the Badger delivers, so they have that base covered. On an EL34 amp it is the drive character that will make or break its success.
I'm into the Suhr thang, and think they've put the player ahead of the amp in this clip. It is of no use as a demo. IMHO, of course.

It's only considered overpriced and overhyped to those who aren't in the target demographic and don't understand that not every amp is designed to appeal to their taste and amount of discretional income. Their stuff sells.
