Probably not as close as I would like it to be, tone and performance wise... But I wanted to do it one whole take. Enjoy

Nice job and your tone is killer. Were you using and pedals?

Thanks guys.

I didn't consciously use any... I set up my amps the other day, and just switched the dirt off.

It's a Brunetti 059 with a Nova System in the loop, a clean Plexi, and a Dr Z Carmen Ghia with a MXR Comp and a BOSS RV5 going it.
I also took the direct signal and added the Waves Amp to it.

 Very nice. I wish to be like you when I grow up. Wait - that's never going to happen...back to the garage for me!

  Great job bro. Love that tune! (Damn! What happened to great bands like DS?)

One of my favorite tunes - takes me back to making military models in my room when I was 13 (when this was first out on the radio)!

Killer performance - shows there's never a real NEED for an expensive Strat!!

That was awesome! One of my favorite songs! You nailed it!

That was awesome...well done! One of my favorite players and songs. I've started to learn it on a couple different occassions but I've never had the patience to do the whole thing...you obviously put some time into it.

Awesome man. Great job. Loved the bends and the solo had some real feel to it. Killed it.

I hate guys like you.  Just kidding! You nailed it both in tone and playing. Great job!

Killer job! Mark Knopfler knows his fretboard pretty well doesn't he.
I still remember hearing Sultans Of Swing for the first time on AM radio as a kid, loved it.

So, how you're gonna prove that was actually YOU playing and not the original track? :D

Fingerpicking was a nice touch - awesomelly done!
