I have one of these guys. 16 ohm cab wired in parallel. I am running both channels of my power amp into each input at 8ohms. I've heard it's best to match the impedance. I shouldn't have any issues running each channel at 16 ohms right? I just don't wanna blow a transformer.

Also if I pick up another cab how will this affect impedance? Say it's one of the following scenarios.

1) Sunn (16ohms) and Cab B(16ohms) each channel into a diff cab?

2) Sunn (16) and Cab B(8)?

Reason for the question is that I am considering modding my power amp to run diff power tubes in each channel and 1 out into each cab as well as wiring the cabs GT75's and V30's X pattern. I'll admit I am a bit of a noob on the subject so please take it easy on me if my logic is flawed.

I am tried to figure out exactly what you have and what you are asking.

I think you have a 412 with 16ohm speakers. It sounds like its wired for 16ohms mono or 8ohms per side stereo.

If your amp has a 16ohm and 8ohm tap on the output transformer you should have no issue (assuming tube amp here). Just use the 16ohm jack or switch the output of the amp to 16ohms per side and run your 2 16ohm 412's.
