OK I will open up a bit. Today is the first day my wound looks like it is closing on my toe. I had some complications from the surgery in March. It's been a long 3 months.

Thanks man. I was discouraged for a bit, especially with my AS getting bad on the medicine pause. I actually got back into being gratefull for what is good in my prayers, as I don't like to only focus on myself. There are a lot of people a lot worse off than I am. It helped me not be angry about it.I been meaning to ask you about that. I have kept your recovery in my evening prayers regularly. That's good news!

I try to thank the Lord for the day every morning since I have another chance at life. In the evening I usually try to pray for the priesthood, my marriage, those suffering illness and those who have reposed. I've been thankful lately as my daughter has been hunting hard for a job and finally found one. My son was injured in an explosion at work the other day but fortunately his injuries appear to be fairly minor and he is recovering quickly so I am very grateful for those things. I def hope to see you up and at 'em on that foot soon but then no excuses for skipping guitar practice haha amirite?

Yeah I have practiced more in the last 3 months, it really has helped me find something positive that I can do. Lessons with @Techdeth have been a lot of fun and a great challenge.
I was also looking at a lot of Orthodox posts on IG. It makes me miss some of that Catholic Saint learning from when I was young. In the last few years here, my wife and oldest son became Lutherans the old school German Missouri synod and they don't do the saint stories like the old Roman Catholic stuff I grew up with.
