Nice! I need to check out some of the Surh stuff. I have my eye on a modern sating in black and no trem for some low tuned metal chuggery

Grats man... Still never ventured down the Suhr path yet... one day.

I'll let you guys know after tomorrow. Warmoth stuff (assuming one knows how to level/dress frets, install electronics, setup, etc.) has been so good that I've replaced all of my Fenders, Jacksons, Musicmans, etc. with them exclusively. Though I've played several Suhrs over the years, never owned my own or got to compare with miine. It will be interesting to see if it's worth the cost over building them.

I've played the modern satin stuff and they're really good. Some people say they're too plain, but they're very attractive as far as I'm concerned. I was set on getting one, but Ibanez just happened to recently release several models with stainless steel frets, so I'll probably go that direction instead. However, if this Suhr is impressive enough, the modern satin will likely be the next one.

Congrats!

Thanks man. I played it for a while last night. VERY well constructed and sounds beautiful. The no noise system works really, really well. Even at saturated gain levels, there's hardly any noise. The ML pickups are great, but I like a little more sizzle in the neck position. That being said, it sounds incredible.

Awesome guitar!! Congrats.

I think this is my next axe but in surf green.
