I don't really know this song.
really just having fun with the newest movie maker.
not to mention im going on 24 hours with no sleep.
used the zoomq3, better vids coming soon.



right channel is has more surreal.
 
From what I can tell it sounds pretty damn nice. The backing track was maybe a little to loud for me to clearly hear the amp. How about a clip with just you playing?

yeah the backing is actually youtube playing on my PC next to the camera, i could hardly hear it in the room.
The zoom q3 records in stereo, so the left is more of the song and the right is more of the amp.
i kind of wanted to see how it'll sound in the band mix.

i just unpacked the amp today.

So did you post on hcaf that you own an amp from Jerry AND your playing 80s rock???? I'll give ya credit if you did :lol: :LOL: :thumbsup:

Congrats on the amp, contrary to what those guys say Jerry makes a great amp.

I play metal, plus i have a newly formed 80's glam cover band... we mainly play ratt , queenscyche ,def lep..etc

how would you say it compares to the Quickrod?

I've always had an interest in Jerry's amp every since the high gain amp shoot out, I thought it sounded pretty awesome

The QR is one of my fav amps. I'd almost say its on par with the QR only the FX loop Is MUCH better, so it actually gets put above the QR for me.
It can do all the QR tones and more.
It has a boost for each channel, a MV on the back..a slope,which acts like a sweep, a resonance that actually works.
the clean channel is fantastic and can get pretty gainy pulled out, think topboost with a marshall power section.
I can also dial the mids to sound like the QR and take them back out if i want.
 
can't please everyone all the time, you guys dont have stereo on your pc where you can take the left channel out and vice versa :confused:
 
Nice! Had the pleasure of seeing that amp before it went out.(Jerry modded my Little Giant) the workmanship is crazy! Beautiful guts! Haha... reminded me of those 10k audio amplifiers from the 80's
