I'm a primitive living sort of guy but damn, I thought raw fish was for use as bait to catch other fish, which are then cooked and eaten.

If you are eating ocean fish regularly make sure you get your mercury levels checked.

I've eaten a lot over the last few decades. Never been sick from it. The key is to not eat sushi from sketchy places. Good sushi will be super fresh, and handled properly.
