Hey All,

I'll make this question simple: would it be possible to mod the Einstein's serial loop to be switchable?? Where the jack for it would end up isn't all that important to me at this point, but I am curious as to the feasibility of said modification...

Thanks.

You'd probably be better off using an external switcher like the Lehle Dual or the Boss LS-2.

Well.. what I'm looking to achieve is a way to remotely switch the "break-in" point that the serial-loop return causes when a jack is plugged into it so that I can switch something in and out of the signal path without having to pass actual audio-signal to and from the switch itself.. if that makes sense.

Right, but it's essentially the same thing as a true bypass switch. If you don't want to add much cable get a remotely controlled one. Other than that you're doing the same thing but adding only a couple of feet of cable which should not effect tone. I just think it's a much cheaper alternative that's just as effective and won't effect the value of the amp.
