I worked on this track today. I say track, but it's probably the second half of a song I'm writing. And yes, I'm well aware I'm black, that's why I find the genre hilarious.

I call it "Extermination for the Nation". It's a Mayones Regius Core into a Mesa Boogie Mark IV that's hooked up to an Orange 2x12 and a Mesa 2x12. The Orange is miced with an E906.

I ran the bass into an Axe FXIII.

There's also synth track on there that I recorded with a Misa Quadwave, but I think after plugging it in, the tempo of the project changed and it was mismatched with all the guitar videos. Had to change it back, but couldn't accommodate the video of the synth after that.

Now if I could just get a job.

I'm racist against bad metal

White metal is about christianity

Black metal isn't necessarily about satan, it was "about satan" as the musical reaction to the commodification, tracksuits, and tommy bahama shirts of the florida death metal bands singing about politics.

The "racism" started out as a reaction to the overtly cringe political correctness of said death metal bands. Although various artists took both seriously, to various degrees

Hey and if you any thought this homophonic that’s a real album made by gay dudes . Just thought I’d add that

As much as I like some of the BM of the 90's, alot of those bands were being edgelords in interviews for sure. At least it was entertaining. That part of it died in the late 90's imo.

Do you think black metal is about racism?

I think metal in general has sexist and elitist biases in small or large doses. Racism is also espoused by some musicians.

With social media and cancel culture, most of them pose and pretend to be egalitarian in outlook for fear of being cancelled.

But the truth is that the human race in general hasn't overcome these knee jerk reactions to anything alien to their own world view or desire for homogeneity.

From a 2015 study:

Racism in heavy metal exists as a persistent, contentious issue, characterized by undercurrents of white supremacy, National Socialist black metal (NSBM), and, at times, overt bigotry in online communities. While much of the scene is diverse and anti-racist, some subgenres, particularly within black and folk metal, have been criticized for exploiting myths of white superiority and attracting far-right ideologies.

Key aspects of racism in the metal scene include:
  • NSBM and Ideology: A minority within black metal, known as National Socialist black metal (NSBM), overtly promotes racist, neo-Nazi, and white supremacist ideologies.
  • Subgenre Tendencies: Studies indicate that folk metal can perpetuate "whiteness" and traditionalist, exclusionary narratives.
  • Online and Scene Harassment: Fans and musicians of color have reported encountering racist, insensitive comments within the community, often stemming from the perception that metal is a "white space".
  • Performative Controversy: Some bands use fascist imagery or lyrics as a "transgressive" artistic aesthetic, often drawing controversy from anti-fascist activists.
  • Reclamation and Resistance: A strong counter-movement within metal actively opposes racism, with many artists and fans fighting to make the community inclusive, condemning white supremacy, and supporting movements like Black Lives Matter.

What is white metal is that a genre of religious metal?

It's Christian metal traditionally, but I'd have to add that I'm not Christian. I like to sing songs about God really. Largely because anyone who could rain fire on Sodom, or drown the planet in the Ark Story, or who made blades of grass being hurled by entire cities at each other turn into weapons that eradicated their race must have a frightning freaking temper.

Here's a snippet of lyrics that would hopefully scare preachers and get me accused me of Satanism and deviant leanings. Skip to the third verse. But read between the lines and you'll see I just have strong views about God and the state of this place.

Don't even pray anymore either. There's nothing to believe in, just my moral compass.

Sins And The Father

Heresy
Protect me
All I see
A purgatory
For my soul
For your sins
For being born
Hell within
On our own
Till the grave
God has left
Us to our fate
Have to try
Escape the rest
Resurrect
My conscienceness
Must move on
To higher state
Disobey
And dominate
Fellow man
You must awake
Before the end
Is at the gate
Rise against
The nation state
Where the wicked
Rule with hate
Make a stand
And await
Healing hand
And a broken nail

And I guess
He's really tired
Of your hate
And whining
All the while
Cheat mankind
With impure
Deceiving
What I know
Can't forgive
Those who plot
Your murder
Can't deflect
Your mortal sin
Hide behind
Your preaching

This is your destruction
There is no forgiveness
I am the enemy
Don't need your crying games

And I thought
God was keeping score
Now I know
The devil takes his own

Holy man
I do not see
How you'll lead
Us from misery
With your tithes
With your greed
With your vice
As people kneel
I will not bow
Unless it's Him
You must die
That I may live
I cannot rest
I will not leave
Do to you
As you've done to me

I must stoke
This burning rage
I will serve
The Master
Will not let
You speak his name
Let Him rain
Disaster
On your heads
In your beds
Death to all
Sinners
Pay for your crimes
For all time
Can not hide
From Father

This is His instruction
There is no forgiveness
I am the enemy
Don't need your crying games
This is the end of us all
No more Sons of God
Now comes the anarchy
Hundred years of death by flame

And I thought
God was keeping score
Now I know
The devil takes his own
Nailed to a cross
Done fighting my wars
And when I found God
He said he would not save your souls

(Forgive me Father, for I have sinned)

Heretic
Lunatic
Prepare for
Apocalypse
Lucifer
Satanas
Leviathan
Asmodeus
Chtulu
Beelzebub
Belial
And Ravana
Devil Himself
Here they come
From the sky
To reign us all
Damn you old man
All your fault
End of the world
For us all
Live in sin
If you want
Shall not want
When comes the call
Beat you up
Broke you all
Because my Father
Won't sin at all

In the end
I won't pretend
I know I
Despise you
Because you lack
Competence
Build a wall
Around you
So the weak
Can't get through
Desperate search
For shelter
To protect
Just and meek
I will plot
Mass murder

Ah God
I'll keep the score
And I know
Devil takes his own
They'll burn on the cross
When I live by my own laws
And if I fall
Please forgive my soul

PS: won't suck dick for a slot, no way, no how haha

Why is there no brown metal, or red metal?

There's brown sound at least.

No red metal, but Chris Cornell famously sung, "All my friends are Indians, all my friends are brown and red".

I'm sorry you have this outlook on life, I am not sure if this hopelessness and despair that you seem to have is a good answer to anything. I think you have been turned off by parts of biblical stories but might be misunderstand the nature of God. But that's all I will say, simply because it is too much to type.

If there is no God, then your moral compass is subjective and relative and made up.

If there is a God and he's evil, then you simply cannot say that there is anything wrong or bad about being evil because you're position of what is "good" is completely subjective and made up. Otherwise wouldn't that make you the arbiter of what is good? If so, then that would be like saying that YOU are God. Your moral compass is subjective and relative and made up. Also, if there is a God and he is all evil, then what's the need or purpose of Satan?

If there is a God and he is good and just, then he has given people free will who can choose to do "wrong", for which there is just punishment. There are consequences for defying God such as every choice in life has consequences. You have the freedom to choose love or to choose hate, choose to go against God. If you go against God, yes that has consequences...the same way that if the child you brought into the world turned against you, you would be very displeased, and there would be consequences for turning against you that may be wrathful. So again, are you God?

I ended up typing a lot anyways. 😕

Ah no, I think you might have me confused as someone who's into religion per se. I am polytheistic in my belief system, so I believe that books like the Bible, the Quran, the Bhagwad Gita and the Old Testament, etc, have good teachings in them.

At the same time, I recognise that these books were written by men who sought to have control over "access to God". As such, I don't take them at face value, and have a "Ten Commandments" approach to morality and life.

If you read my lyrics, you'd realise that I do believe there is a God. At the same time, I recognise why the Bible, Quran, etc, all talk of End Times and Judgment Day.

It's because these times are so damn evil. You see the atrocities everywhere, and no one lifts a finger. Criminals and despots run countries, the rich have different rules from everybody else.

That's why I like white metal. The subject matter is so much darker and scary than some guys singing about Satan.
