Saw the first Tubbs video. Just went up. Decent tones in the BE modes but kinda tame. I still wanna hear more.

Said more coming.

Thanks, didn't see that pop up previously. Embedded here.
Look at those awesome monitors!! Hopefully will have some soon except I want the 6" ones.

I liked the Morgan and SLO actually much better than the BE , but damn that direct out is pretty good its a little muffled in high gain the way Shawn has it but a quick turn up on the highs or presence and that would rip ,it was also surprisingly quiet compared to some MTS stuff

Man Shawn makes great vids but I hope he will do some higher gain ones. Gray player and knows tone but I need to hear these things get heavy! Like some balls out heavy from the Soldano. The Morgan sounds he got were killer and the direct tones have me very pleasantly intrigued.

SLO and Morgan have been added now as well. Fantastic player but I would agree on wanting to hear some heavier riffing or 80's riffs. Both modules sound really good.. maybe I should have just got the SLO instead of ordering the Myasnikov SLO preamp in rack format but that thing sounds beastly as well so no regrets. I wonder though if with the bright switch on the morgan, you can get the Top Boost channel?

The direct out here surprised me. Usually they sound like ass but that was solid.

Yeah man this was the vid I was referring to. Saw it yesterday and was really impressed but need to hear more out of it. Hopefully on the VH4, HBE, etc playthroughs he'll bump up the aggression a bit. Not going to lie, I naturally reached out to Synergy about doing some demos. Not even looking for free stuff, just putting them through the paces and sending back ala what Rob @ ToneMerchants did with the Butterslax. Maybe they'll take me up on it. If the high gain tones and FEEL are there, I'll spend some of my hard earned dollars.

You go girl! They should definitely get some gear into your hands.. we need to see diff players take these through the paces. Another thing I would love is a side by side with the real amp they are trying to mimic like Metropolous did. I really want to see the Plexi against a real Plexi. I mean, is it just a sort of cleaned up circuit that ups the gain as you turn the preamp up or does it fuzz out and get meaty like a real plexi? I need to hear this.

LOL! Thanks man. Would love to do it. I could easily do the side-by-side with the Dirty Shirley... :D

It makes sense to use a guy like Shawn. Killer player, super approachable and not at all off-putting and has a sh*t ton of subscribers. I think I would definitely do them some justice though... Either way, I am still really interested in these. I almost grabbed the VH4 MkII pedal but now thinking I may just grab the module and Syn-2. Hell, it'd be cool to do a comparison between the pedal and the module...

Still no official high gain demos but premier guitar has a
New vid and the DS sounds very nice.

Kinda wanting a couple 3-4 modules.

I just looked up the SYN2. It’s $799...so I assume it also comes with two modules? Do you get to choose which two you get?

Yeah about $1600 for the Syn2 and 2 modules.

Wow. Just my opinion, but they are idiots to price it so high. I was really interested and ready to purchase the SYN2 and several preamps, but not at these prices.

I actually thought it was inexpensive for what it is.

A used a Fish or X88 preamp is going to run $1,400- $1,800. The Synergy stuff is more than comparable, does more, and can be changed to taste with different modules. Plus, you're technically getting a 4th channel compared to said preamps. You've got iconic amp designers designing their respective modules, not somebody trying to replicate those designs.

Personally I find it quite reasonable price wise.

I guess it’s perspective. I love the Mesa Triaxis. I bought one with the Recto boards and had it fully serviced and gain modded through boogie for around a grand. I get the priced for standalone preamps, but the base unit of $799 is crazy to me. Maybe if it were $400... again, just my opinion and not bashing anyone. I’ll just keep my eyes open for used.

Yeah, it's all relative. The chases is tube driven, with the sag and emulation, backwards compatible for guys with Randall/Egnater modules, different outputs and loops. So, you're paying for all of those type things.

I rocked a Triaxis/2:90 for years. Great gear

Yeah. Guess I’m greedy wanting some humbucker heavy stuff but that ain’t his bag. Like the DS though

Me too. There are Engl and Fryette modules being developed now actually.
