I like "Alone Again" better than "Kiss of Death" but both still can't touch the originals in my opinion.
Sebastian Bach did a good job but Ripper Owens is singing like a robot. I love Ripper's voice but doesn't fit the "love" stuff.
I absolutely hate George Lynch changing the solos. Those solos are so legendary that I can sing them in my sleep and they are like a vocal. His tone has alot more low end in it as well and not as defined. I just loved his tone in the 80's.
I've come to the conclusion that I don't like the production stuff bands are doing now. Vocals way up front and instruments hidden as well as everything distorting because it is being pushed. The latest Foo Fighters record is a benchmark people should strive for when capturing a band. It is very listenable and sounds outstanding.
