Sounds damn good that's for sure!! I've heard him coax some killer sounds out of a line6 m13 and a crate powerblock in the wee hours of the morning in a seedy Anahiem hotel room. Stellar player, has ears of the Gods, and one of the nicest dudes on the planet.
 
Sounds like Axe to me... Which is 100% okay - nothing wrong with that.

A lot of Pat's sound comes from his pickup configuration . Of course it also comes from his knowledge of how things works and how he programs/sets up his effects but you wont get that killer clean sound unless you have the correct pickups installed IMHO.

good morning my dear tone comrades

it is the peacemaker on the bogner 4x12 for the dry, set pretty darn clean. hotplate on -8, no tone switches on.
tyler strat with fletcher landau standards in neck/middle and holmes 450 in bridge.
used to have the kinman singles which i also love but the suhrs have more authentic chime and stratty twang, at the expense of some noise.
the action on the treble strings is a little clinky when i dig-must ratchet up a few nanoclicks.

my rivera rm-1 pedal switcher is loaded with:
tone press comp
arion chorus
arc furnace overdrive
ethos

tc flashback after the switcher

the line out of the hotplate feeds the gforce and the wet signal ends up going to the tech 21 loaded with a scumback for wet/dry goodness.

the effect i really love and have been using a ton is that flashback pedal set for the ep-3 toneprint. because it is the last pedal in the chain, after the rivera switcher, and in front of the peacemaker it has such a huge impact when i hit it-delays the dry and in front of the gforce-- and i can add it to any tone to sustain and warble it in a very respectable tape delay fashion. love how small it is also!

the arc furnace is best ever stevie ray in a box but you can also set it for a punchy vox thing which is more how i set it because it works for more styles of music

ethos is a killer lead pedal for my tastes-dumble fat midrange, mesa mark saturation and single note ease minus the graphic tone shaping

the recording was iphone which always has a pronounced midrange and lops off the bass so ventura's comment about axefx i think comes from that. i agree it does come across as a little axe-y on this clip but in person there is much more flesh to the tone. no pun intended!

i didnt think the lead tone would get much love here as its very vintage smooth around these parts

the closest thing i can think of on the dumble side is the zendrive 2
for the aggresive side it's kinda maybe tonebone classic?
trick is the ethos merges the two camps. and when i first plugged it into a clean fender i was shocked at the dumble factor.

maybe hold out for bogner xtc blue pedal and get some fat rock lead for a little less?

for a long time i've done the same thing with delays and that is to stack one into another
i find dropping the more toneful fat warbly tape machine effect in front of a more pristine digital delay (tc flashback into tc gforce) works best for my taste as it sorta cleanly sustains the angelic tape thing a bit longer, and also use some ducking on the gforce delay/verb so it slightly expands as it fades and doesn't knock the early repeats too hard.

i have not been able to replicate the flashback tape sound in the gforce but sorta get in the ballpark.

a nice side effect is that the flashback has spillover so i kick it off right before i change a preset, and it smears/masks any patch change glitch that might occur within the gforce

diji/scott should try the el cap tape sound into the h3000 for some wicked lava lamp moments.
 
Digi Scott should send Pat 2 tickets to CT, have mrs digi take mrs Mentone to the shore for peddies and shopping while Pat is served young milk fed veal saute'd with marsala and chantrelle mushrooms on my deck while programming my rack.

We will then bring the completed rig to Saybrook point light where we will fill the air with TONE, calling boaters into the rocks as sirens once did in mythical times while filling our souls with Velco Fly margaritas, lime juice taken from a marble mortar and pestle.
