Those wacky 90's! How many of you paid any attention at all when Line6 changed the amp world by releasing their first modeling amp - the Axsys212? I know I did - I bought one right away. And it was a big ticket item for me then, even now really. I want to say it was over $1000 at the time.
Then they came out with the firmware upgrade to turn it into the AX2 and I did that one too. After all these years I still have it and it stilL rocks. Let's take a time trip back to 1996 for a good long look at how much modeling has changed since then and also how much has stayed the same.
