Using that way outdated G-Force that is not worth nearly what it was years ago  :( :aww:

His tone and skills would be far better with the next version plus he will recapture his capital investment if he times his sale better next time.

I saw this and cried...............he is using something older than 50% of the forum members  He needs to get the latest and greatest to get better tones!

Please help Mentoneman!

Thanks...now I can't get any work done. Can't see my monitor through the tears

there is a rhyme and reason to each rig incarnation i swear!

but there is also a certain value to solving my personal tone riddle with each combination, and extracting a personal vision more fully as some items are swapped out for others.

and at this point the fractions or degrees of change are getting much smaller and so personal i doubt anyone else would care. but i hear and feel it.

THAT SHIT CAN'T POSSIBLY SOUND GOOD!!! THE HORROR..OH THE HORROR!!!

Buying gear has replaced the 401K!

It's all about resale/investment value now, nothing else matters.

It's true because the internet said so.

tell you one thing, i'd hate to try and explain to an old jazz player how to hook this rig up.

i did manage to hang on to the gforce during my big revamp:D

the space echo, eggie tol 100, two rock onyx, timeline, echolution, picture wah, and ultra have all gone to better homes, and the only things i picked up in the wake of the sale were a boss v wah for 50 bones, the tc flashback, and a teese rmc-1 for half the price i sold the picture wah for.

and if cliff has really brought the pain on the new axe-fx i might swap out the gforce eventually

The CA is your amp imo Pat, you sound better through that amp than any other that I have heard. It has that smoothness with just enough marshall bark when you need it with awesome cleans.

The Space Echo is the shit that provides that extra mojo and mystique

oh yeah i bought a cable pack on sale at GC friday....

1 -3' speaker cable
5 -6" pedal patch cables
1 -18' guitar cable
1-10' instrument cable

$24 in the bargain bin!

i agree...

today :D

in all honesty the biggest difference between the el capistan and the real roland space echo was the preamp section to me. the space echo preamp just made it fatter and at the same time more touch sensitive and immediate. the el cap and the dc timeline didn't reproduce that aspect. the hughes and ketner replex does that part of the job best out of the delays i've played.

i'm waiting to see if the new timeline can hang with the el cap tape echo to decide which to get. the flashback does a great job and is smaller and cheaper, and the toneprint is sweet, but my instinct liked the el cap tone more.

here's a weird thing

i always use the enhancer tilt back stand. but i'm the only one out of the 5-6 guitar players that rotate through our worship team combinations. it does such a great job. i can hear myself better, the bass freqs are collected from the open back cab/combo and redirected towards me instead of spilling all over the stage...
i had 3 female singers about 10 feet in front of me this weekend, and my rig was pretty loud, and i asked if they were being bothered by my volume and they all said i should turn up. when was the last time that happened to you?

Because the ladies were enjoying your new Sean Connery look and did not want to chase you away.

Tone will not travel through those cables. Too cheap. Please spend 25X more on your cables and remove all You Tube videos of yourself playing until such time as this is accomplished.

Thank You,
The Management

You live close enough to hold an intervention right? This dumpster diving for cables and using 40 year old echo boxes has to stop. Pat hanging here is bring down property values.

i look at all those pretty boards and think "no way"

i go through different pedals like sand through the hourglass

and you can't buy one boutique cable for $24 bucks let alone 8!!

i love the sound of evidence cables but george l, monster, and plane waves is my idea of ceiling boutique cable prices.

Great video...the Axe is actually making the tone! JK Pat! Killer killer and again killer. Gotta catch up soon!
