Although I have a Gibson EDS 1275 (Jimmy Page) and an ESP double neck like Chris DeGarmo's (mine is black instead of white like his) and those are both great guitars, and maybe more practical than a regular 12 string.

The first act customs that the guys in mastodon use are pretty rad but sadly no longer available.

I like the Danelectro 12SDC. Inexpensive way to get your 12 string jangly on for a lower price if it's not something that would be used all the time.

I went cheap and got a Dean Boca 12 String Electric and still love it!

I have a prs 12 string custom 22, sounds killer and best playing 12 I've had.
