Tariffs & the guitar industry.

I think people are just burned out on tariffs. It's everywhere all day. Guitar is the one thing most of us turn to so we can avoid the rest of the world.

I talk about it all day with clients. Admittedly guitar pricing spiked when demand increased during covid. A ton of guitars are flooding the market. Tariffs or not, I don't think current pricing would be sustainable. My guess is production will slow tremendously going forward.

I typically stay out of this stuff because most times I feel like I'm the only human left on Earth who sits in the middle. I'm a retired Air Force MSgt with a hippie vibe. I think EVERYONE deserves to live their best life.

With that said, we live in the best country but we are all spoiled brats. People want "Made in U.S.A" as long as they are not the ones on the factory line, picking apples off the tree, etc.

I think our country just jumps too far in a different direction too fast. It is because we have had it so good for so long. We are home to rock and roll, Pepsi, Gibson, etc. We have been the best at alot of cultural things.

We need a combo of fairness across the board. I've been middle class my whole life. I just want to work hard and buy cool stuff. I want some help but don't want it all handed to me. I want U.S.A made guitars but also want there to be cheaper options too.

Sorry for the rant. I'm burned out on all of the division everywhere. Politicians are not going to tell me who to like, who to hate, etc. I could give a crap. I think people need to respect everyone as much as you can. You can't control others but you can control yourself.

Same. Last thing I need is politicians telling me what is right and wrong, and how to think, I know the difference. Hell that was one of the reasons to get into music back in my day, to chart our own path not be a bunch of sheep.
