Been listening to a lot of different things these past few months. Discovered these guys a week or so ago. This is one of the tastiest solos I have heard in a while...

The solo fit well and I liked that part. Have to admit though that I would have never made it to the solo if you didn't point it out.

lol... This is not the type of music that I normally listen to. Everyone in a while I will check out something that I'm not sure I will care for. As I said, I did think the solo was tasty.

Which is a very healthy thing to do and something that I should do more of. My age must be setting in though because I like very little of new stuff that I hear like this.

Most of the production on these songs make them all sound the same. Almost like Walmart released an app that runs all of the guitars, bass, drums, and vocals through the same reamped sim to regurgitate the same tones.

I hear you. I try to find cool new bands all the time. It's rare when I hear anything new or exciting on the radio these days. My typical music is from the late 80s through the mid 90s. Every so often I find something cool. Bands like Big Wreck, Architects, To Whom It May, City and Colour, etc.. I found online while just trying to hear something new.

I agree 100% the solo was very tasteful. I really have never been in to that cookie monster type singing but I did enjoy the parts where he was actually singing

This is the second time I've come across this song/video. I wasn't that taken by it the first time, and nothing in my second go-round made me like it more.

Part of it is the fact that it's so "produced." Like it's recorded and mixed in such a way that producers will like...if that makes any sense. The other thing is that I can't figure out what the fuck is going on with his glasses on/glasses off thing. Like...what is happening there!!!
