Man that thing sounds AWESOME!

I especially like the Tri-Chorus setting, total Landau 80's chorus/swell tone :D

That caught my eye! (and ear)

I'm not into the whole 80s thing much, but I really like Landau's playing and tones (even when used in cheesey contexts), so I definitely want to check this out.

my nova repeater can do most of this... and it has pedal , line level, and drykill... and was only $125 brand new

definitely like the smaller chassis though..and If I didn't already have the repeater i would get this

The chorus sounds surprisingly lame

Rely want this even though I dont even have a use fo it as i have a major 2 in the rig.

In true rig talk fashion I'll be buyin one anyway!

Am I the only one that often buys a pedal when visiting a guitar shop, because I feel I must buy something... And to satisfy my GAS for a day or two?

Awesome!!! Love the fetures, the sound and especially the size. Looks like that will be the delay on my PBoard...

Go check out their Corona Chorus too- it has a dedicated Tri-Chorus mode.

After watching this video clip, my respect for TC Electronic has increased a lot. At 4:19 the demonstrator states exactly why I turned away from the TC Electronic Chorus in the first place- that bright, hi-fi slick sound that it's famous for, is just not my cup of tea. Now they have taken that into account and installed a Tone switch, so you can alter that particular sound. I feel quite grateful about this. I like that TC Electronic put a lot of time and effort into considering a wide variety of tastes while developing this effect pedal, and also they seem genuinely humble about it.

I also gleaned a fair bit of information about the Tri-Stereo Chorus effect, how it is used and chorus in general. Running three delay lines at once with slightly different depths, smooths out the warbling effect. I guess this is similar to the Strymon Ola Chorus, which also has a single delay line mode and a "Multi" triple delay line mode. I guess it's also similar to the Roland Dimension D/Boss DC-2, which uses two delay lines but a trapezoidal LFO waveform, so the resultant pitch-shifting is much smoother rather than like bobbing up and down on a fishing boat- and therefore sounds more spatial, or as spatial without sounding mechanical. This appears to me that it would work better with distortion (since distortion compresses/squashes that pitch changing together, exaggerating it). This is handy for me because I'm trying to find the best way to get chorus to work with high gain without muddying up the tone, but to run in front of the amp rather than the effects loop.

Okay, I went a little off-track there. Well, maybe not, since there's been a few posts here recently about Eddie Van Halen's detune effect on Balance and F.U.C.K., which is another method to get chorus to work better with high gain.

I dig the pristine hi-fi tones and the anlog circuits of the TCE digital gear (Nova System and G-System)...but the sound and price points on these are good. I hope the Nova series is upgraded not discontinued though.

That said, a few of these would cost more than the Nova System...before I got my G-System, I considered building a board using Nova Series pedals...that quickly added up to the same if not more than the G-System. With the Nova and G-System I don't have all the AD / DA conversions of the Nova pedals either...

Very cool IMO!

Sounds good for the money....I am not a TC guy. They sound weird to me, like the effects take over your tone. All TC stuff kinda does this to my ears.

I like the sound of the dark matter and the mojo mojo. What remains to be seen is whether or not they will be noisy and artificial sounding like I found teh xotic stuff to be with my rig.

I think that they should also release software for creating our own custom toneprints.
