Which one would you use and why?

I have had a couple Gsystems and currently have the FX8. Let me start by saying most of the Gsystems
Effects sound outstanding. The tech. is a bit dated but still very usable. But somewhat limiting, comparatively. The Fx8 is an outstanding unit too, more versatile as you can load up multiples of the same effects into presets. Another thing ( if it matters to you) the fx8 comes with plethora of drives and pre effects as well as the ability to arrange the pre/post effects. The editing software makes the Fx8 a breeze to program. The effects are top notch too.

I agree. FX8 by a mile. Fractal effects are stellar and the routing options are endless. Killer unit for an all in one solution. Plus they are going dirt cheap right now, maybe a new version coming out?
