I have one in the loop of my Splawn SS . I just use it for a simple kick of clean boost which it does very well in the loop. It also adds a little beef and girth to the tone .

I use it the same way^^^
Great little boost.
Doesn't add the girth like an EP Boost, though.

How does this one compare to the V1 Koko boost clean boost side? I find the KoKo mid boost is great for me but i am not totally thrilled about the clean boost side.

$50, what is it like? Flat frequency response? Know what is inside? FET?

gets great reviews, I didn't realize it was analog so I expected deep editing parameters. Seems like just a boost knob.

The Spark Mini is a great deal for $50. I run mine in the loop of my amp and it's everything I want. More of what I already have, louder. The single knob controls the amount of boost. There's very little if any coloration. If you're like me, I've spent $50 on much worse...you really can't go wrong here.

Per the TC Manual:

“I want a volume boost!”
Awesome! Then you want to place Spark Mini
Booster after your distortion pedal(s).

If you use pedals for your distortion sounds, then
you will want to place your Spark Mini Booster
directly after those pedals.

If you use the distortion of your amplifier, then
you’ll need to place Spark Mini Booster in the FX
loop of your amp – otherwise you’ll end up with a
gain boost as explained in the following section.

“I want a gain boost!”
Rock on! Place Spark Mini Booster before your
drive pedals or distorting amp to use it as an extra
gain switch for increased gain and sustain.

If you set up Spark Mini Booster this way, you can
use it to lift the volume of your clean sound when
drive is disengaged. In other words: If used correctly,
this can transform an awesome sounding
single-channel amp into a ridiculously awesome
sounding two-channel amp!

Exactly what I am hearing in my setup.

I got one, not in my chain currently, but is a great boost

Sounds like Morse has it in the front in the vid above. Concur?

I have the full-size. I boost my JSX, and it does it very well without the compression of an OD. I will never get rid of it.
