I'm interested in a low cost Telecaster, but I'm not very familiar with them. I think I've widdled my choices down to the 3 listed in the subject. I'm just looking for everyone's opinion on each.

Any of the above will do the job. Find a GC or someplace where you can play a bunch and pick one out...

I voted the G&L, though I have never tried one of their lower lines, if they are anything like their upper end guitars, they are great. Just make sure you can get along with the neck profile, they are different than the Fenders.

Look for a used American Special Telecaster....they sound absolutely amazing! I played on some 30+ telecasters before choosing the one I have now, it was heads and shoulders above the rest.

Although I will admit I have thought about selling it recently to fund a bass guitar purchase.

They're more than my budget allows.

Those Squier Classic Vibe tele's are the real deal. If you don't mind something a little different the Peavey Generations tele's are killer and can be had for nothing. I had one before I built my tele and it was one of the better playing guitars I have had.
