Tell me about P50Es/VHT Fatbottoms

I got to crank the cabinet with a Randall RH200 finally. I am blown away! This is the tightest cab I've ever played through, and being someone who's always been obsessed with getting the tightest sound possible, it really fits my playing style. It's clear as a whistle too, which is something I struggled with when I had Vaders and Mesas. I assume this is all form being front-loaded which gives me some real control over the amount of bass I get too. I'm already considering searching for another Fatbottom cabinet, possibly grabbing that 2x12 mentioned earlier and trying some other speakers, maybe Vintage 30s even though I'm not a huge fan, or K100s.

Did you figure out the speaker deal? Wtf was up with that?

Glad u are diggin it man.

I'm not sure what's wrong with it. I can't really tell a difference until I play clean and really focus on hearing that one speaker, the volume fluctuates and there's a slight buzz to it, but the other three seem to compensate when cranked. I assume it's going bad although it's reacting differently than speakers I've blown before. I should be doing a deal with another Rig-Talker for a replacement P50E, so that'll take care of it.

Well, aside from the 1 funky driver, I'm glad you're getting along with everything else just nicely!! I tell ya, I bought my Deliverance thinking "okay, just go for a generic cab, no biggy, just another 4x12 to add to the mix" and thought since my poweramp was Fryette, hey, matchy matchy, get the Fryette cab too.

It's one of the most exciting set up's I've run in ages. No disrespect to my Diezel or Bogner rigs, this new rack rig is total tonal flexibility and ease of use. Add to this, a newly ordered Axe-FX Ultra as a 2U effects processor, man, I'm going to be Fryette Fanboi No.1 for sometime. These cabinets are amazing... I love 'em. Wickedly built, no buzz, no fizzle - just powerhouse pound and tons of sizzle. Mine is still morphing as it's still pretty new - I did a 30+ hour burn-in with repeating audio tracks and frequency signals, maybe not loud enough. I'm finding it's still changing its shape and feel. But regardless, it's getting better and better :D

Way to go Fryette!!!!!! :rawk:
