So did you find the MTL similar to the IIc+ you got rid of? Or did you just want something else I guess?

I recently watched a Wizard MTL vs IIc+ vid and found them to be quite similar for my hobbyist purposes

That’s a IIC+ in the vid but he owned this III++ Coli. Personally I think the III++ Coli has more in the tank than an MTL mki or mkii, but may be on par with a hell razor.

The MTL is a BEAST, but I’d have to give that fight to the Coli.
The MTL could definitely hang though, and that’s impressive for a 100 watt amp.
The Coli is like and 800lb gorilla benching 140lbs. It’ll rattle the foundation of your house without even trying, and with so much headroom that the tone remains as clear a bell.

How about this for a fun Coli experience......

Get a Strategy 400. Run the Coli, out to 2 cabs, line out to the S400, another 4 cabs.
Crank.

Let us know how many life forms disintegrated.

I had sold the S400 by the time I got the C+ Coli. But I did slave the SRG C+ to the S400, 4 cabs. it was insane. I could hear the glass in the windows making a high pitched noise. Pretty sure I would have broken them had I gone any louder.

I've had 3 2B Coliseums, the last one was part of a collection in LA that @GJgo and I each grabbed one. Mine was a very late 2B that should have been a C, by the serial. I made it into a C+ with the help of the mighty Mike B. Jeremy also had his B+ modded and is a monster.

The previous 2 were also awesome, the first was serial #81 and a very early one. No limiter like the later one I had....I brought it to one gig, and because it was an early one it needed a slight tightening of a boost pedal...but, I had to turn the stack slightly towards the rear of the stage to prevent feedback. My old drummer still says that part of his present hearing loss was due to that one gig, one time I brought a Coli to a club.
