Tell me about the Rivera Knucklehead II

Played it atleast 3 years ago in a store. Had some great gain on tap. One thing I specifically remember was that with the gain at 10, it still didnt get fuzzy or clonk out like some amps. It felt extremely sturdy and had a great clean channel. I thought it was a great surprise of an amp to play. To be honest, nothing sounded quite like it (in a good way). I would have played it in either standard or drop D tuning at the time. It kept up tho to all the fast playing and the sound stayed together quite well. Like I said, It was a pleasant surprise.

Just a disclaimer: That was a long time ago before I knew alot about amps and such. I might play it today and hate it hha
 
Anyone else play one of these? How's the gain? Saturated? Need an od pedal like the original Knuckleheads?
 
Great, very versatile amp. I have a K Tre and it's a GREAT amp.
 
The gain is not saturated IMO. The boosts are extremely bassy and the opposite of a tube screamer type boosted sound.
