Does it really sound great, or is it just passable? If I end up going with a Marsha, I'll need it to cover a lot of ground and will need a great sounding clean channel that takes pedals well. Maybe Dave or some Marsha owners can chime in. Is the $500 clean much better, or just different?

Is there only a volume control? 'Cus if that's the only drawback then it wouldn't matter. As long as it sounds good I'd probably set it and forget it.

It does sound good. It's only a volume, but your Presence does have affect on it.

Like Fender Twin good? Or high gain switcher good? How's it take pedals?

Not as good as a Twin but better than alot of high gain switchers.
