Tell me about the Whitesnake Doug Aldrich albums

I remember hearing some songs from Doug Aldrich's time with Whitesnake and really enjoying them. I've been trying to find them on a streaming service but can't. Amazon wants $150 for the Forevermore CD

Was the music original to Doug's years just on Forevermore and Good to be Bad?

Yeah, those were the two with Doug's songwriting, they really were good! One I thought was a little better than the other, I think it was Forevermore I preferred. I always liked Aldrich all the way back to the Lion days.

Did not realize Forevermore was out of print, here's the best used I quickly found ($20 plus $4.50 shipping)

Seems like there's a number of tracks on Disc 2 that were new studio cuts just for that album.

Those two albums were cool, but when I think of them now it feels like they were pretty one-note even for Whitesnake standards. Sort of like Doug had a couple of fat riffs that they made two albums worth of material from. I probably need to go back and listen to them, though, I haven´t had them on in years and years.

I always though Forevermore was just ok and Dougs tone didn't sit well in the mix imo. I saw them live with him and he and Reb were on fire.
