Texas Republicans Pass Laws Limiting Travel of Pregnant Women

Women and minorities are not tokens of anyone's virtue. It's a concept that many seem to be oblivious to.
There is certainly some virtue signaling involved with some “pro choice” people, but I do believe most people hold that stance not as a moral high ground, but because they feel it’s a personal decision that has fuck all to do with anyone but the pregnant person.

Counties aren’t states, and there you go, abortion is the point, not the travel. Those 4 rules counties make up 1% of the Texas population.

#detailsmatter

That, sir, is horseshit. Travel IS the point. Texas has no right to forbid travel to another state in order to hamper a woman's right to choose.

The U.S. Constitution and Supreme Court recognize and protect the right to interstate travel.

Simple things like calling someone a pregnant "person" when they are in fact a woman pretty much throws any kind of pro "women rights" argument out the window. More to the point; It's not about individual virtue signalling, it's about virtue tokenism movements against entire segments of the population that never asked for the victimized branding and are made to feel that if they aren't with the politically correct social credit grifters, than they're against them up and down in all of life. They as a whole are being used for the status and benefit of people who are generally more often than not; not affiliated.

It's certainly not about "some" virtue signalling is happening with "some" pro choice, as that is highly minimizing the actual impact of telling people their entire lives that they are victims, are of lesser status, have lesser rights, etc... It actually makes people apathetic and less inclined to participate in society by telling them those things. It makes them less likely to be well adjusted or want to bring children into this "unjust" world, to include having a higher level of abortions. Who would've thought?

One of the worse things really is calling anyone a second class citizen. It's not just patronizing, but it's an absolutely cruel and monstrous mass utilized manipulation tactic to deny people of their humanity and personal beliefs of access to the real possibilities available to them. The user of the tactic may not even be aware and believe themselves just. "This is why and how they're keeping you down" instead of "This is how you can improve your situation." "You are a victim!" instead of "Opportunity is only limited to the degree of your participation." These are all easily fixed societal uplifts that seemingly go purposefully ignored.

TL;DR? If you lean too far in any direction; you're going to fall over. Some people don't realize they've already fallen over and feel that everyone else has fallen due their newly developed angle.

Yeah pity you can't make your girl abort a blessing from the Lord so you don't have to pay child support. Abortion is the realm of losers and irresponsible degenerates. I have no pity for someone who seeks that as an outlet. The curse. I once dated a woman who was heavily burdened with guilt. Her child would be an adult today. Now she's sterile. Don't no man want a woman who can't produce. Abortion, a poor choice that shouldn't even be a choice.
Boy are you a cunt.

The act of traveling isn’t what’s illegal. The specific act of aborting a fetus while traveling in what’s illegal. Using your logic, speeding laws prevent one’s right to travel too?Because let’s forget about the reckless act of high speed and focus on one being denied the right to travel. Details matter!

And again, the headline embellishment is tiring, as it indicated Texas Republicans and its really just a few podunk small town legislatures.

How about a headline like “US Democrats are pro-Hamas”? My logic to match yours would be because 4 members of the the Democrat Congress have made antisemitic statements. Let’s stop the BS and call stuff what is.

I’m all for having discussions and debates, but when people use intentional twisted logic, headline embellishments as their arguments, I question the effort to even debate.

details do matter, and I this case it is certainly about traveling. This law makes anyone simply helping someone cross state lines to get an abortion, liable to being sued.

Not the person having an abortion, not the person performing an abortion, simply the person who helped someone go to a place where it is perfectly legal.

The dude that gave their friend a ride is now held legally accountable. It is 100% about travel. That is fucked.

The courts will sort it out. Maybe worry about the bad gun laws in your own state. You east coast doods are like docile bunnies. Just give you the sox game and some popcorn and you're compliant with whatever.

lol yea what a terrible way to live! I mean I don’t give a shit about the Red Sox but the thought of who does and does not have a gun is something that absolutely never crosses my mind.
What’s better than owning as many guns as you want?? Not being afraid enough of needing them.

My area has actually been a bit of a destination for people getting fucked over for a long time. People traveled to MA for gay marriage and now for healthcare. I’m pretty ok with that.

See what I mean though? You have strong opinions about your own state but want to tell other people what to do with theirs. We do not think like you here. You are welcome to be gay in Texas, if you try to drag queen story hour the kids you're going to get pushback. You can waste your own progeny like a dirtbag does in your state but you aren't welcome to do that here. It sounds like we both are exactly where we belong! Isn't that nice!
