I was on TGP for something like nearly 20 years. I got banned for publicly questioning why a specific boutique amp brand could get away with charging thousands when the guts looked like they were made by kids in a science class.
I pop back in from time to time under a different name just to check the emporium and tech forum. I don't post anywhere else there now, it's a shit forum and 99% of the old school crew have either been banned over the most ridiculous trivialities or have left.

For me, Frankee getting banned was the tipping point. The old timers seemed to drop like flies after that.

There was about ten or so of us that I knew before covid. Have seen maybe one or two recently, but I haven't really posted there other than this past weekend and when I was trying to get more people involved with the St. Jude raffle. Though, there was a thread I started I think last year where I was messing with people to see how long it would take to get banned, and I literally didn't do anything overt and still got banned over "feelings" :ROFLMAO:

It was mostly my fault, as I was trying to lay a lib trap to catch people in their own bs. It seemed to work since I was banned and got negative points or whatever for it. When I asked why they banned me, they refused to answer. Because there were only two legitimate possible answers for banning me that would either imply the person who reported and/or the mod that banned me were being either sexist or racist. Not that I care, was just trying to expose their hypocrisy by playing dumb. When I say sexist/racist I mean in the extreme left sense, btw. Their definition, not mine. :ROFLMAO:

TGP was very retarded before Joe Biden and covid. So is TDPRI. They got big mad at me there when I said tv was a passive activity and a waste of time.

what Covid stuff was I posting over at TGP? I vaguely remember some discussions, but it was towards the end of me posting there. I remember discussing housing markets a bit and of course the layoffs and all that.
I was hit pretty hard for the first couple months by them because money reasons obviously and my daughter that was born about an hour after I got the furlough email.

Tumultuous times for sure
 
I just miss some people......


But overall I mean, glad Im not there anymore really especially now.
