Both living and passed. We appreciate you and thank you for your service. :salute: :salute: :salute:

You are welcome.

And thanks to all my fellow vets as well!
Freedom isn’t free.

I did almost 22 years in the military and on this day I think about all of those fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, etc. that never made it back. They sacrificed their lives for their country and for freedom and I don't ever want to take that for granted.

Yes, thank you. You guys are definitely the real hero's. :salute:

To all my fellow service men who paid the ultimate price...

It was an honor to play my small part.

Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum

Yes

I’ve did 13 years active. 5 of them on security detail.
Didn't choose it. Sent in take down some insurgent on a patrol mission.
Kick a door in. Three bad guys. Machine guns. Fucking lead spraying every where.
Walked in. They had heads. 90 seconds later they didn’t.
I took a bullet in the chest. Bounced off my Kevlar. This was bahgdad.
Like 3 am. Really hard to fathom even today.
Only reason I’m here. So ya. Hand salute the heroes.

Some gave more. Their life’s.
I cry thinking about it. :aww:
Same here. Memorial Day is bittersweet for me. I thank all those who gave so much more than me, and I'm crushed by the memories of friends who fell.

Yes, thank you to all vets, living and passed for your sacrifice and courage. True heroes.
