that billy corgan thread a few days ago

Billy is seriously probably the worst singer I have EVER heard live. Possible exception being Chino Moreno but these 2 are neck and neck. The last 3 albums were garbage IMO. Mellon Collie should not have been a double album or they should have just stopped there. Billy had 250 songs or so in the can when they went in to start demoing. 245 of them sucked ass IMO. Pisces was a good album. Understand that this guy along with Hetfield and Page Hamilton made me start playing guitar.

Zeitgeist is a testament to the horrible production and mastering on many releases I've heard in the last 5 years or so. The recording sounds dead and was mastered so that any sense of dynamics are totally lost. Dynamics are what got me into them in the first place. It doesn't sound like SP at all. More like Zwan pt2. He couldn't sell any albums under that name so he decided to trade in on the old name. Bad move IMO. Lost me as a fan.
 
I've read many interviews with him in Guitar rags, from early 90 to late 90's. He's obviously in love with himself and his sense of self importance is off the scale. The guitar hero comment is totally in line with his way of thinking. Corgan = douche.
