I can’t believe there’s an actual Hype knob 😂

This sounds insane on paper. For $2300 and it doesn’t have all amps imaginable I’m going to hold off until they catch up.

same, with my Helix Floor...

but I'm using computer plugins more these days vs my Helix, I even sold my FM9 MkII Turbo because of the plugins I have.

I think some plugins have caught up to digital modelers, many have free trial versions to try before you buy.

My favorites include PolyChromeDSP, Neural DSP, BlueCat Audio Axiom, and Helix Native....worth a look IMO.

Helix Stadium Native including capturing could be a very cool future plugin.

Keep in mind, this is the same company that released a pedal with a Pulverize switch.

Im not sure if any of this is true, but apparently it has a "Damp" control that simulates beer getting spilled on your equipment and a "Score" meter. Supposedly, based on your playing, the algorithms gather data on your playing throughout the night and tells you if you'll go home with anyone.

I am really glad that I am able to veer away from tech. It's attractive like opium but unlike opium it doesn't improve your playing.

since my time with the axe ultra i’ve i stayed away from all digital until recently getting tonex and first impression is a better sounding pod with way too much initial computer crap to deal with.

but i gotta admit this stadium thing is obviously trying to steal fractal’s high end user throne and is incredibly deep featured.
 
$2300 to model tubes. Does it stop working mid gig to simulate a bad preamp tube?
 
I hear the new Helix profiles different cable brands too.....

This stuff just keeps getting better no doubt but, there is something phony about the sound. It just doesn't sound like an instrument anymore.

Even EVH lost me after 1984. He still sounded great but it lost that magic.

Probably auto connects to wi fi and streams your playing into an AI server and then rips off your licks for the future 100 percent AI top 40 soundtrack if your stuff is any good. It's like one of those robot vacuums that maps out your house for when the feds need to kick in your door. It''s evil and must be destroyed.
