The 10 Most Annoying Concert Behaviors

I'm working with some pretty kazyass high-tech, existential people right now... Very post-acid, academic DMT, artsy technos...they're a couple. Very smart. Very eccentric. Very knowledgeable. Very wealthy.

They work in the world of background apps specifically for the iPhone. Jesus man, what they've been sharing with me as to what these phones are being used for unbeknownst to the users/owners. Mega startling but not surprising if you know how corporate directives work globally.

Suffice it to say, personal tech is going to be the decline of western civilization as we know it :aww:

Interestingly enough, they both avoid owning a cell phone.

My top picks would be the Drunk tailgater types and the people that constantly walk around in the crowd.

Did they say anything about the finger print lock? And that they're handing the data right over to the government? What about remote microphone and camera taping? Are people being spied on?

YOu brought it up, so elaborate on the fuckery.

Tracking, spending, travel scope, etc.

The more "in depth" bit has to do with the app choices DL'd to one's iPhone and the behavioral tendencies when using these apps. Apparently every move is framed and banked in massive correlative databases, where these subconscious tendencies are categorized and - if so deemed worthy - can give a complete personal psychological profile of the user. Once this is done, other apps are offered and depending on their hit rate, more items are added to the phone - both surface and sub-context.

Moreover, spending tendencies, personal account information, friends/personal social network, etc.

The 1st and 3rd aspects were known years ago about personal tech. However now? They're really focusing on population control and manipulation.

To give the full rundown would take me a small thesis to write.

We spent about 3 hours discussing it... It was very frank and very in depth.

That's already happening with website data. Every time I log into eBay, I get hammered with guitar gear for example.

My habits? I'm surprised no one has come and taken me away yet... ;)

I'd have to say the overt sex and drug use - but I guess that's the first 2 tenets... and Rock 'n' Roll. ;)

Would you like some polish for that tinfoil hat?

What you call "population control and manipulation" is also described as "sales". Such companies work out what you are most likely to buy and then offer it to you. JUST KIDDING IT'S THE LIZARD MEN CONTROLLING OUR MINDS, TRUST NO ONE

The dude 2 feet away from you with 3 feet of dirty hair head banging
The tone deaf dude (or chick) behind you to the left who needs to ding to every song.
The dude who tries to get in front of you so he can be closer to the stage.
I had that happen at a Dark Tranquillity concert. There was a girl in front of me and she was against the gate. Behind me was a dude asked if he could get in front of me. I'm like, "um... No..." He then told me the chick in front of me was his girlfriend. I simply told him she was pretty hot.

Surprised noone mentioned the assholes who sing along. I want to hear that shit.

I hate the dudes who think it's a great idea to start shoving people to get a pit going. Most places don't even allow pits these days so if there is not a group of meat heads shoving each other across the floor disrupting everyone, then it is a better show.

I have noticed that whenever one of my apps wants to be updated it asks for permissions to my personal contacts, account info, and other things the app has nothing to do with.

Tin foil hat aside, this is the more obvious and fundamental undercurrent of hidden agenda.

The lesser known are things such as word and voice recognition, tactile utilization, GPS, etc. It goes deep. Second thing discussed was the fact that these "subversive" hidden apps and shadow programs are asked to be implemented by higher governmental agencies, in Canada the CRTC, in the States the FCC and levels of admin higher than those - throughout the world - the agencies responsible for doling our access and authorization. According to "some", RIM/Blackberry refused to implement these shadow programs...this was a couple years back. It's interesting to see where they are now. Furthermore, interesting to see the level of press (the sheer magnitude) that all syndicated news streams are touting the 5S by Apple. I mean - this is the perfect fuckin' scam - everyone wants one, everyone has one, the popularity is astounding, here we are as a collective populous buying them and buying into them, and no one's the wiser that in these lil' delightfully addictive consumer products, there's stuff being tallied, observed, correlated, tracked and analyzed.

Seriously. It's kazy. I'm meeting with these clients again this week - should be good. I'll see what else we talk about.

Peace

So, ask them why when I texted CC info to my wife 2 different times the cards were hijacked within 20 minutes. Of course Verizon is saying this is impossible.

The asshat who decides to form a circle jerk, I mean mosh pit.

The same asshat who tries to crowd surf.

The asshat who gets plastered and starts acting like a roody poo and picking fights with everyone.

Big gov. conspiracy or just wall st profiling you to direct sales and ads to you? I have a hard time believing they could go thru that much data and start Hoover type files on everyone with a cell phone. The $$$ are in marketing and advertising. That's where business will focus.
Now if your a Jihadist or drug lord etc... I'm sure some search patterns and key words will set off an alert with the NSA for a closer look. But a tool to control society??? Not so sure.
Let us know some details.

Serious?

Daaaayyyyuuuuum.... I don't dismiss it. The tech is out there, and all this information is so openly being sent and received, it's no wonder to me.

Both. Corporations and government are one of the same nowadays.

But the mere fact she showed up in a tube top is unto itself a very concert worthy thing
