I don't believe a turn around is impossible, it can be done but certainly isn't easy. Our president is on the right track; bring industry and production back. Forcing allies to carry their share of military debt (UN) and thereby reducing our commitments. Evicting the freeloaders that had a major part in our debts. I think the decline can be reversed but it won't be easy, there will be lots of crying and complaining going on and every step will be a battle with the "leadership" that has put us on the brink.
