There's really not much to see, as we kind of understate condition aspects so people are surprised with what the receive. Hey, we're players and audio addicts at bottom, so we pretty much get the psychology of it all. What is bothersome is the little anal retentive stuff. I mean, I do understand the whole fear-factor element of buying online from complete and total strangers. But all this stuff is just gear. Some of these guys get so wrapped up in the absurdity of `knowing' what an item is like, this from miles and miles away via a virtual medium, that they fail to get the illogical premise of their position. And, brother, life is much too short to humor those who take such crap that seriously. I mean, for those who NEED to know ever square inch of a this or that, they should stick to retail and pay the added 40% mark up for the piece of mind of being able to touch and see the actual item in person. The way I see it, and I have a buyer's account and purchase around 20 grand in gear for the studio every month mind you: if you're working with well-established sellers who know their stuff, that's as good as it gets on ebay or Craig's list. In the case of this Revision 2, it's a little different only because people who are about a R-2 are actually people who KNOW a little something--they have experienced different revisions and have a preference for the II. That is something I personally dig; as it shows more than a mere mindless jerl-around of the seller. For example, I do ask sellers if the Joe Meek unit is made in the UK or China, for example, or if the Lexicon PCM 91 is a USA-build or is assembled in China. I also have a preference for older Diezel VH4 heads, so I like to know the age. And with Manley Voxbox and Vari-mu's, the versions can have a serious impact when retubing
