Yep! I was like Pete when I got the Celestion IR's it took me a a bit to figure it out. When I found out that I had to download another piece of software to put .wav IR's into the AX8 I was like WTF? Simply dragging the IR into the CAB manager should automatically covert it for you. I like the way Fractal stuff sounds but man they are behind the times in some areas.
If the Fractal produced IRs that they sell are purchased, then they conveniently come ready made in the proper Fractal .syx format. No need to convert. Just import or drag them into Axe Edit's Cab Manage section.
All other commercially available IRs are in the .wav format, which then need to be converted to the .syx format for use with Axe Fx Units.
So basically.....buy more Fractal produced IRs & you'll save yourself a couple minutes
Thanks guys. Yea the other track was the ultra as well just a different amp model. It was the "Uber" something or other. I want to say thats there ENGL model but could be wrong.

Thanks for the info Cliff. Also the AX8 has been a very nice tool to have for some of my gigs and a cool addition to my home rig and studio... so thanks for that as well.
