...or parody as the name paordys "Dead Kennedys".

It would be a perfect name for a serious acid jazz combo. The kind of jazz guys that think jazz is punk rock. Because it was.

Wrong. If it was a punk band, it would be called Kenny G's Syphilitic Cock, but would be abbreviated to KGSC.

any word on how the show was ...

I'm curious

It was a trip. Total acid jazz improv noise groove. The instrumentation was Tenor and Bari Sax, Fender Rhodes, Bass (stand-up, and electric), vibes, drums, and percussion (tabla, timbale, all kinds of trinkets like gongs, bells, whistles etc.). It was a 3 piece band that I actually ended up knowing one of the guys in the band because I mixed his other band a month or two ago. Really great musicians but hard to listen to after a while. They played for three hours. Wow.

They are on tour so if they come to your town and you are looking for something totally different, go check it out. They also have a trio with Les Claypool and they are doing some shows with him but I don't remember what that group is called. :)

Yup. Skerick was pretty killer, so was Mike Dillon (drums, vibes, perc). I knew Mike because I have mixed Mike Dillon's Go-Go Jungle before but I hadn't met Skerick. Really nice guy.
