The Djenterator?

Has anyone else been listening to this? It's a computer generated algorithm cranking out instrumental djent songs. I think it slaps, and it does djent better than most djent bands. Is this the end of music, or a fun project?

I love periphery and Jason Richardson and Polyphia so this pops up on my feed . I can appreciate some parts but it feels lifeless to me . I put it once in awhile to check out though

Some of the open note breakdown parts I've heard from this thing are fucking disgusting. It's like, who would play that?

In amongst the complete shite there've been a couple o' passages that actually sounded legit.

Reminds me of the old adage that even a broken clock is correct twice a day, albeit briefly.

Well, if you like this or think this is a positive direction for music (which is art made by humans) I’m not sure what to say.

Slaps? Djent? You are from a different era than me my friend. I guess I’m old, but I worry for our future.

I think this is pretty unlistenable but AI making its way into music is going to be an interesting things to sit back and watch. I don’t really have an opinion on it personally, I’m mostly fascinated by the technology more than critical of the music or whether it is or isn’t art. This is just beginning. There have already been legal kerfluffles over AI artists.
