You should watch "It Might Get Loud"... It's a great show, and Edge talks about his passion, more for "weird and funky groovy" sounds, than he does actual structure and song building.

Hehe, I read an interview once with a British guitar player. I can`t remember who it was, I don`t THINK it was Steve Clarke, but it was a left-handed hard rock player.
He was a little upset about Paul Mc Cartney, because every time a cool Gibson or similar found its was to the British shores, Macca snatched it up

the Edge rules...
the guy has created more memorable hooks with his guitar and effects than just about anybody... He's more of a "big picture" type of guy than some kind chops player... why would that make him suck?
