You know what im talking about, the DOD FX50-B Overdrive Plus. i really have no recollection of buying this thing, or ever even playing it, but damn it does nice things to my Krank. i think im really starting to dig the KT88 thing with this amp

All this research I've been doing about starving voltage to pedals makes me want to strangle it.

That's not nice.

You could try it though. See how it sounds at 7v and let me know in my other thread. Help me with my research.

This reminds me of one of my first pedals, the DOD FX57. Sounded like every 70s hard rock lead guitar solo. Cheesy, but fun!

Nice! I think those DOD pedals kinda got overlooked back in the day, at least by me, but they were pretty good, had their own thing going on or at least their own take on a theme. I've got more than a few now, they're usually pretty cheap, and I like them better than the typical Boss fare.
 
Does it sound good with other amps? Thinking about getting one for my marshall or deliverance.

ill have to get back to you on that, ive not really tried it with anything else. for $50 or so though i dont think you can go wrong
