Knaggs Stevens SSC

-rings loudly when strummed not plugged in and sustains for a surprisingly long time
-I’ve had this for about 4 1/2 years and it’s taken out every single cut I’ve put it up against with ease and I sold all the others (I had 7 or 8 Les Paul’s and a Huber) I had in the year following the acquisition of this guitar. I’ve put it up against many Gibson R8’s, R9’s, R0’s, many PRS, other Knaggs, Murphy Labs, Huber, etc, and it finally met its match against my newest R9, so out it will go. It was the reigning champ for a long time. Whoever ends up with this will be very fired up. It plays effortlessly, and sounds glorious. The pickups are touch sensitive, yet tight, defined and articulate. With clean tones its sounds so good, edge of breakup just as good and with higher gain it’s straight up gnarly. This thing is a rock machine, yet play the blues with it and it sings, peel some volume off and it cleans up to a sparkly clarity that is just perfect. I used to have many guitars but now I keep the best example of each guitar I have like a single cut, Strat type, T type, super Strat, etc.
-iPhone pics don’t accurately show guitar color, the fretboard looks much darker in real life.
-the case has some wear
-since I’ve owned this guitar I still continued to buy other single cuts because I love guitars and often can’t help myself, but they were all sold or traded soon after I got them because this one was so much better in every way. I can’t stress enough how good this guitar is.
As far as trades go, mainly looking for a super Strat type guitar, a Suhr, Anderson, Tyler, Charvel, etc. Maybe the right Tele.
-I can provide many references if someone needs them.
I would prefer a local sale / trade in the SF Bay Area as I don’t trust shipping companies these days.
