Anyone else rocking one of these in a guitar? They had one in stock at my local music store, so I dropped it in my V. This one is an earlier discontinued model, so finding a wiring diagram was fun. I set it up to be standard humbuckers on the bottom 3, and outer single coils on the top 3. I really like the outer single coils for clean parts to get a low noise strat tone. It's pretty.
The posts on this version were kind of a bitch to work with. I put a lead on the output and it wiggled the post off. Luckily, I was able to solder the lead wire to the lug and save it. Other than that, it worked flawlessly the first time. I'm digging it so far. It beats flipping the 3-way switch and pulling the tone knob to split. Now I shift up and to the middle.
