All new electronics in Les Paul, getting buzz

Gibsons are not shielded with copper or shielding paint. One of the few guitar companies that don't do it. This is the most likely cause of the buzz.

Did you replace the PCB with components or just the toggle switch.

All of it. New switch, pots/caps (no pcbs), pickups, and jack.

not supposed to change with your hand hitting metal parts on the guitar. My guitars don't do that, especially with no strings.
Mr. Fancy Light Bulbs over here.

Sometimes things get picky depending on the shit around you. My old jam spot was notorious for that shit. It depended on where you stood and which way you faced as to whether or not your guitar would pick up the shitty ballast hum. I just learned to deal with the buzz when I played over my head and stuff. I gotta practice.

Hmm, well it's not the best comparison considering it has cheaper electronics, but my Epiphone Les Paul Standard Pro is doing the exact same thing, and it's 100% factory. Sometimes it's just normal light buzz from the amp being on high gain, but if the fingers are taken off the strings and no muting at all, after a couple seconds, it'll start to get that buzz too that softens when I touch the bridge. Perhaps it's just the nature of the beast with these guitars?

Well, all is solved. I put some strings on her, tuned her up, and the hum when not touching anything is barely perceivable. It's way quieter than the Epi LP I was jamming on a couple days ago set up the same way.
