Because like he said, people are always wanting tones from a long time ago, like 1972 not tones from 2025. So what's the point in being innovative or designing an amp that sounds fresh. Nostalgia is all most people want.
Unfortunately, they break tooI prefer tube amps, but god forbid they need to be serviced. Dropping $$$ on a tube amp these days to have some local guy F it up or take 10 weeks to fix it makes me just want to spend a few hundred dollars on a decent modeller.
