No i think were headed for a decline. I think builders will put the squeeze on manufacture & R & D like the Arabs do with oil production
coupled with tubes. Only so much to go around.

Testosterone lacking, low grip strength inducing, estrogen level boosting digital modeling trash and all that associated fa-gear that is evidence of a once great empire now in decline will continue to become more popular. Like everything else most people will just go right along with it without offering any resistance. It is pretty obvious that's the case just browsing threads on guitar forums. Now we're at a point where some guitarists will never have actually played through a tube amp until much later in life. It doesn't really matter anyways because most new gear is just junk even when it has tubes. American excellence in manufacturing checked into the hospital in the 60's. Bai Lan. Let it rot.

No doubt modelers with continue to get better with all the features young folks like.
And vacuum tube quality will probably get worse cuz i havent seen it get better the last 20 years.
