[70 Mach 1]

4th time out this year.
Playing the county executive 9 hole.
Holes range from 130 to about 210 yards

3 pars.
1 boggy

Been experimenting with golf balls.
There definitely is a difference.

I find medium soft about 60 to 70 compression works well for me

Anything softer I lose yards anything harder i cant hit well

Sprung for new balls today.
Been experimenting with ball compression.
Have a slow swing speed of about 80

Been hitting the 40 compression well and figure time to step it up a notch.

I know they're cheapies but the way i lose them it still gets expensive

I'll play both balls the next few rounds and report back.

I don't venture into the sports thread too often. I love golf. I play about 40 to 50 rounds a year as we have short season up here. My back tightens up when it's too cold.
My favorite balls to use are pro v1's and TP5's. I also like the Titleist tour softs.

I tried to like it, but never did. I also wasn't very good. Though back in high school I tried out for the golf team and broke one of their records. I think I still hold it after all this time for the worst score ever. I shot over 100 on 9 holes.

I think the reason I liked golf when I was younger was because alcohol was always involved

Even my first experiences with it. My grandpa (and grandma) were huge golfers. Her golf bag and clubs were handed down to me. They are collecting cob webs in the basement. They had a membership to a golf club for as far back as I can remember. Alcohol was a huge part of my life on that side of the family - even when I was way too young to be drinking. Getting a virgin cocktail along with the adults was par for the course - pun intended.

Same here..... my first set of clubs were Grandpa's hand me downs. They were right handed and 3 years later after lessons.... I switched to left handed.

There is nothing better than going out on a beautiful day with your buddies and golf bags loaded with beers. Then the cart girl comes and more beers!
