American politics is very strange. In the rest of the world, the Dems would be the center right party and the Republicans would be the equivalent of AfD or thr National Rally party. Anyway, I understand your perspective but we won't agree. MAGA is historically extreme. If you don't think so, it likely means you are yourself extreme.

No, it doesn't mean that at all. It's your perspective as a left wing extremist. In fact I would wager that you couldn't find a single example while remaining objective. You're just blind and refuse to see that people are sick and tired of catering to nutjobs and crybabies.

Trump got just over 30% of the vote. He won by 1.5%.

I would be interested in how you came to those numbers so I can teach you how both math and voting in the US works. For example, children don't vote. Voting entails actually voting, and 1.5% is not accurate either. The US doesn't go by popular vote, because if we did than there would have been slaves a lot longer than there were and to this day every minority's vote would mean nothing. Imagine voting for a superintendent of a school district by popular vote. You have four schools, one with 1000 white students, one with 500 latinos, one with 200 blacks, and one with 100 asians. The last three literally have no say in the outcome. Now give each school one vote (electoral) and see how that turns out. The actual fascists are democrats who want to get rid of the electoral, who want to get rid of filibusters, and who want to use people to give themselves more power and be the sole deciders of our fates.

It's partially because California kept counting votes for about a month after the election and found another 7 million votes.

The real important point was that DT won all 7 swing states.

Just so they can spin a narrative? Quite possibly.

I wouldn't expect a lot of Californians to vote in their own interests, given they tend to vote for things like red tape and policies that lead them to homelessness and hard lives due to the warm fuzzies their virtue signals give them.
