I'm spending too much $$$! I actually have a bag/case that I normally put my cables, etc in that will fit it no problem. I just need to make a partition for the inside. Not sure if I can get it on a plane though. The ground control could fit in a suitcase but then I have my talkbox and aby selector...too much crap!

The kemper will fit on the plane. I'm able to fit a dual mono case with 2 guitars, a carry on that has my floorboard on it and the kemper will fit no problem provided that you get a safe bag to put it in. I'm thinking that if these Kempers really take off, we should be able to put them on the rider and then we can just show up with a memory stick HAHAHAH! Then we have officially become keyboard players because that's what my Keyboard player does

The kemper will fit on the plane. Well my case/bag is probably 20x14x12...probably too big. I can fit other stuff in it...maybe even the GCP laying across the top. And you're right about the thumb drive...that would be incredibly awesome to just show up with that, guitars and midi board.

This has got to be a dream for bar bands or serious cover bands. All the effects in there too shezam. Small rack with a power amp and done.. I was going to say add a rack multi effects but doesn\t look like one is needed. I should prob not worry about buying anymore amps at this point, they will all be profiled.

All versions have effects....not as many as the axe but enough to satisfy most guys I would think.

Really?! It's amazing what one can learn if they just open their mind and ears. I have not paid attention to the Kemper much due to the stubborness that comes with advanced age....

I sold my amp for an AxeFX. The hype was great then too, and I bit. I sold the Axe and had to pick up another amp.

yea, I hear ya. I was never convinced on the axefx and all of the criticisms seemed to justify that to me. There only seems to be one valid crit on this and that's the aliasing thing, but it sounds like that's been worked out.

so... my old band has been bugging me so I'm thinking about doing the cover thing again but with very small rig that -easily- fits in my tercel and sets up fast. These days I'm too lazy to deal w/ a ton of patch cords, a small rack on the cab, midi cables everywhere etc... and we always seem to get the gigs with limited space or we need to setup really fast; like at air/car shows or sports bars right after the big game and they wheel away the large screen tv's. I miss the 90's where we'd setup the night before and play 2 or 3 nights tear down sometime late on sunday afternoon when our hangovers were properly nursed away.

I should just get a podhd, a small combo and call it a day but I also want to start recording again, so having a kemper would completely kick ass for both situations.
